Using a pixel font size is most closely related to using a font size in which Microsoft program? A-The Microsoft program that is closely related to using a font size is Microsoft word Why are ems considered best practice? a-Because they work in all browsers instead of pixels that always does not work on the internet Put these font sizes into ems: 70px, 36px, 10px a-70px-4.375em 36px-2.25em 10px-0.625em What are the four link states? How will you remember them (and their order)? a-a:link a:visited a:hover a:active Go ahead and find a cursor that works for you and demonstrate your mastery of this code by taking a screenshot of RUN. <— It won’t show up in a screenshot, but I do want to see the code. Review the CSS background section. Do not get too technical here. I’ve always wanted my background to stretch to all screen sizes and now there’s an easy way to accomplish this. Use this link and copy the first example. Find a background picture and take a screenshot of both the CODE and RUN to show me that it works.

Which GOOGLE FONT do you feel could capture the feel of your site? Why?
The google font that I would use on my website is the Vibur font because I like the feel of the font and I feel like it would be a really nice font for my website. What is CSS? How is it different from HTML? A- CSS stands for cascading style sheets, it describes how HTML elements are displayed on screen, paper and any social media. Show me your own example of CSS Syntax with each part labeled (what they are called). You can take a picture from your notes, write it out in Notepad++, Paint, or Word. The method is up to you. A- Screenprint an ID and Class selector in both CODE and RUN. A- What are the three ways to insert CSS? Which one will we be using the most in class?
A-<head> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"href="mystyle.css"> </head> Screenprint a CSS comment tag that answers this question: Why is the sky blue? A- 1- A negative that I saw in everyone's presentation was everyone had a hard time going up there and already know what they were gonna say.
2- Peers thought that for our group the thing we did best in our presentation was the first page and the index was well done, and about our roll models. 3- According to our peers we have to work on looking at the audience more and stop moving while presenting. 4- The best type of feedback that we got was saying that we told about or role models the best during the presentation. 5- I thought that Logan had the best presentation because he was prepared to go up to present and his website was good. 6- The theme that I would choose for next year would be sports because there a lot of people that play them and sports are very interesting. 7- For the three pages you should pick three sports that you like the most and you should talk about them and maybe try to play them. I don't need a tip to keep me focused on to get an A. There is one tip that is important it is when people are on there phone and I am doing my work I can stay focused as other people can not. It would be a good paragraph idea because I can talk about me staying on task as I can with me off task.
I used the picture that I took in middle school and I added a filter onto the picture that I had. I used this picture that I took and I used the vignette tool and then I made it blurry. This was a picture that I took freshman year and I took out our feet and whiten the background and made it look like we were angels.
What I have gained from this course that a traditional class would not have granted me is in this class when we do coding lessons you have to pay attention and have to listen to every word that the teacher is saying and you have to stay at the same pace that your teacher is. In this class you have to build a website with codes in career tech you can just go into weebly and create it from their its not that easy in this class. Coding is all on the computer if you go to a math class there is a little bit on the computer but mostly paper its the total opposite in web design.

The most important part of the 8 guidelines for better readability is getting straight to the point because you don't want to keep explaining something an by the end of it you ask what am I even writing about you have to get straight to the point so you know what your writing about. The one guideline that I struggle with the most is choosing my font wisely because I always just choose the font that I like the best but most of the time you have to look at which one looks best in your writing.
Reflection- I thought the index was pretty hard i got a little behind because when we had to put our index in the coding mine didn't save so I had to type the whole index when the class was doing the other codes so i had to catch myself up when they were always going ahead to the next part. I liked it a little bit though because when you do something in the code and you think its right and you want to check it so you save it then run it in chrome and you see that it is right you feel so smart at least I do. The photo shop part of the coding when you had to get your logo into your website was fun because we had our logo look like a sun but then when we saw what it looked like on our website we did some adjustments and took out the sun and just had the circle and it looked a lot better. My favorite feature was the photo shop with the logo because that was the only thing i did good on. My least favorite thing was all of the coding because i'm not good at the coding i just need to get better at it. I rate our index a 5 because we had half of the stuff but not all of it because we did not know how to do it.
